The result is fabric that is lighter than expected, deeply warming, resilient, & luxuriously soft—crafted for scarves, ponchos, and blankets that offer comfort season after season.

The Best of Both Worlds

Our partners source Mongolian cashmere from nomadic herders in the high-altitude steppes, where goats develop ultra-fine undercoats to withstand harsh winters. The Merino wool comes from Australia’s open pastures, prized for its durability and natural breathability. Together, these fibers create textiles that are versatile, insulating, and beautifully enduring.

For generations, herders and farmers have raised animals in harmony with the land, using practices rooted in respect for both nature and community. Their knowledge ensures that fibers are harvested responsibly and woven with integrity, preserving traditions while embracing modern weaving techniques that bring out the best in each material.

  • Labelling and extra sewing is done in a workshop solely employing workers with disabilities
  • We have established and are supporting a preschool in Katmandu, Nepal, so the women here can stay in the workforce after having children
