The Story behind the craft

Humble Hilo Kumale Ceramics is crafted from locally sourced, non-porous red clay and using time-honored methods outside of Kathmandu, Nepal. Kumale Ceramics preserves craftsman legacy with a blend of modern techniques. The result is stoneware that is beautiful and competes with the attributes of mass-produced kitchenware.
